Olson Lee

Hello everyone, my name is Olson.
During my Taekwondo journey, I have had lots of fun, excitement, and some challenges too. I have also made some great friends that I really treasure. We train together, encourage each other, and have lots of fun along the way.
I started learning Taekwondo when I was 4 years old in kindergarten. I still remember Master Joyce teaching me how to punch, block, and kick in my trial lesson. It was so much fun and that made me interested in Taekwondo and I wanted to keep learning.
Over the last four and a half years, I have learned many skills, including Patterns 1 to 8, self-defence, and Taekwondo terminology. I think terminology was the hardest part because there were so many words to remember. Thank you to my mum and dad for helping me learn and practice the pronunciation.
Sometimes I also found some patterns difficult to learn. Thank you, Master Joyce, for teaching me step by step and helping me improve. Thank you, Master Brian, for holding the boards while I practised my punches and kicks. Thank you, Master Benecia, for teaching me self-defence. Thank you, Master Bryanna, for teaching me blocks and kicks and collecting my grading records.
Today is a very special day for me, and I would like to thank my family for coming to support me. I would also like to share my happiness with my grandma in Hong Kong because today is her birthday. I am sure she will be very proud of me.
Thank you, everyone.
